Dear 4-H Members, Parents, Leaders,

We look forward to hosting the 2008 New York State 4-H Shooting Sports (Air Rifle) State Championship held on March 1, 2008. Important information and entry forms are linked at the bottom of this page. Please make copies and distribute to anyone interested! Please read the information carefully.

Carefully review the “General Rules” for clarifications. Pay close attention to cut-off dates for sending in the applications. This year, the number of competitors will be limited to the first 45 who send applications AND prepayments. After that, we will take entries ONLY if there are available firing points left due to timely cancellations, etc.

Get your prepaid application in early!!!

Basic registration or fees questions may be emailed to bja14@cornell.edu or you can call Brian Aukema at 607-772-8953 at the Broome County's Extension Office. Someone there will help where they can or get a message to one of us. Leave messages on voice mail machines and calls will be returned

Refunds are offered on a limited basis for those who contact us in writing or by e-mail to bc4hss@dishmail.net before February 15, 2008. To receive a refund, you must include ALL details regarding your child’s name, address, county, phone number, etc. to identify the cancellation and refund. Send or email a copy of your registration form if possible when requesting a refund. Refunds will be honored through our Broome County Extension Office and will be mailed after the event has been concluded.

Mail your registration forms and fees back to the address shown on the form before February 8, 2008. Emailing your interest is great, but we need the actual form MAILED to us to insure entry. Prepaid entry forms mailed to us guarantee squadding of firing points for the match.
