SHOT Show Auction
NEWTOWN,
Conn. -- Over the years, manufacturers and sportsmen
have helped raise well over $500,000 for the future
of hunting in America through the Shooting, Hunting
and Outdoor Trade (SHOT) Show's annual firearm and
knife auction.
The
2008 auction promises to be another exciting one.
The items include a highly embellished Ruger rifle
with a historic serial number, an elegant Pennsylvania
longrifle and a finely crafted, expertly engraved

Regional 4-H Shooting Sports Instructor Winter Workshop

Saratoga County 4-H Training Center
Ballston Spa, New York
The
New York, New Hampshire, New Jersey and Vermont
4-H Shooting Sports Programs’ Annual Winter Workshop
will certify volunteer leaders as 4-H Shooting Sports
Instructors.
The
workshop will feature the following disciplines
(based on a minimum enrollment of five participants):
Air Pistol, Archery, Air Pistol, Archery, Coordinator,
Rifle, Living History, Shotgun, and Muzzle Loading.
Adults will be certified to teach the applicable
discipline to youth participating in formal 4-H
Shooting Sports Programs and in camp situations.
Each state maintains its own standards for certification
that may exceed those established by the National
4-H Shooting Sports Committee...>
