The
2008 NYS 4-H Shooting Sports Recognition
Banquet & Auction will be held
at the Roaring Brook Resort & Conference Facilities
in the beautiful Lake George Region on Saturday,
April 19. We are moving to a larger venue to accommodate
this growing event. Roaring Brook will provide more
space for attendees and enable everyone to better
view the great selection of auction items offered
and to participate in the games. The difference
in distance from last year’s venue is at most a
half-hour. For those interested, a special discount
overnight package is being offered to help make
this an all in one get-away weekend to one of New
York’s top tourist areas. This year’s Recognition
Banquet & Auction offers something for everyone.

are the details:
Date:
April 19, 2008
Location: The
Roaring Brook Resort & Conference Facilities,
Northway Exit 21.
Time: Doors will open at 4:00 p.m.
for preview and participation in The Games, The
Silent Auction and The Ticket Drop while enjoying
complimentary hors d’oeuvres. A cash bar will also
be available. Dinner will begin promptly at 6:00
p.m. The Live Auction will begin at 7:30 pm.
Cost: Event tickets are $32.00 per person.
Reservations are required
by April 4! Special “Ticket Drop” Opportunity:
Buy $100.00 worth of tickets for drop items and
receive the same number of tickets for FREE. We
feature high quality drop items. You can take advantage
of this special “Ticket Drop” opportunity alone
or join with a friend and double your chances of
being a winner. Tickets may be ordered until April
11, 2008. You will receive your tickets at the door.
This
event is the largest fundraiser for the NYS 4-H
Shooting Sports Program. Simply stated, we need
your support. Register now and bring family and
friends. Join us to recognize outstanding leadership
and service while enjoying a great evening that
will raise vital funds to help ensure not only our
current program … but the future of Shooting Sports
for the next generation!
