Annual Report - 2008

Program Goals:

79 youth enrolled in “Shooting Sports Project” county wide.

Two 4-H Community Clubs offer Shooting Sports Projects under the direction of 3 certified NYS Shooting Sports Instructors.

4 County Wide Shooting Sports trainings were offered under the direction of 4 certified NYS Shooting Sports Instructors throughout the year in Archery, air rifle and .22.

The 4-H Laser Shot System was utilized during the 2008 Schaghticoke Fair helping market the 4-H Shooting Sports Program and provide a taste of what the program is about.  An estimated 876 fairgoers benefited from the display and shooting sports laser shot system.  It has become an integral part of our marketing efforts to recruit new youth participants/ and adult volunteers as well as educate our county and state policy makers.
